It was founded in 1926 by Col.  and Mrs. W. Brown as the first residential school in Dehradun. The school campus is home to over 500 students in its nine hostel buildings. It is run by the “N.S. On arrival, students are divided into different houses. All school activities are organized through the “House” system. Each house students reside in a different building under the supervision of a Housemaster and/or Matrons. The nine schoolhouses are Dick House, Sylverton, McIntosh House, Long ford House, Ireland House, White House, Colonel’s House, Patel House, and India House. Ample good quality and hygienic meals are offered to the students.
